Circle of Hope - CANCELLED

This stunning quilt, with all the motion in the world to capture your eye, is a fun adventure and skill builder. The first task and initial part of your adventure is to select your color palette. Contrast is the name of the game here and I am sure you have your favorite color or a certain place you want to hang this lovely quilt. Don’t be afraid of the variety in the black and white (or your color) components. Be sure to use small prints so no one fabric takes over the picture. Auditioning is key. It may come easy and then again, the ‘just-right’ combination is worthy of your time. The green/blue color in the sample is just one option. It also needs to be a tone-on-tone or a tiny print so it does not steal the show. The flow of the quilt is maintained by the curves, which keeps your eye wanting for more. The curve technique is practiced in class before embarking on the quilt itself. Templates need to be made from the pattern. (The original pattern maker has passed and the ones mentioned in the pattern are not available…FYI) You will be making those prior to the class. For skill building, you will receive one-on-one attention. This is an intermediate level quilt and not for beginners. However, a confident and experienced beginner can rise to the Intermediate Level.
