We will be looking at Van Gogh’s Starry Night, a piece that was controversial at the time. We are going to use our fabric like Van Gogh used his oil paints on canvas. Come with your heart & mind open to creativity. We don’t want to copy his work but utilize it as inspiration to create our own “Starry Night”. We will be using the parchment pressing method. I believe this piece can be completed in the time offered or very close to it. Techniques for completing this art quilt will also be discussed.
